Eduacation given two years in mother language as turkish. Program has 30- 40 students capacity and interactive, student-centered education methods are used for the high quality education. |

7 | Profile of The Programme | The aim of Medical Imaging Techniques Program radiographic examination of medical imaging devices and the environment for radiographic examination by making them ready to train competent manpower needed. Radiological imaging centers, angiography, magnetic resonance, computed tomography, mammography can be applied in areas such as learning, qualified radiology technicians are missing elements. In this direction, the main aim of the program is to train radiology technicians who will help them to gain qualified staff in the health sector. In Medical Imaging Program; Principles of Atatürk and History of Turkish Revolution-I, Turkish Language-I, Foreign Language-I, Anatomy-I, Physiology-I, Pharmacology, Rational Drug Applications, Medical Terminology, Health Law, Occupational Health and Security, Atatürk's Principles and History of Revolution-II, Turkish Language-II, Foreign Language-II, Anatomy-II, Physiology-II, Infectious Diseases and Control, Medical Imaging-I, Radiation Safety and Radiation Protection, Physics, X-Ray Physics and Device Structure, First Aid, Medical Imaging-II, Radiological Anatomy, Radiotherapy, Factors Affecting Quality in Radiology, Quality in Health Services, Accreditation and Patient Safety, Medical Imaging-III, Nuclear Medicine Imaging Methods, Shooting Techniques in CT and MRI, Diseases Information, Computer Systems courses it is given. In addition to the students' courses and year-end applications, 30 working days in summer internships are required. |
8 | Occupational Profiles of Graduates With Examples | After two years eduation, students graduates as a madical imaging technician. In our country, there is almost radiology department in every hospital. In addition to this, the number of private imaging centers is increasing day by day. Graduated students have opportunity to work at public institutions and private hospitals and clinics. |
9 | Access to Further Studies | Medical Imaging Program students can transfer to Nursing and Healthcare Management degree programs with Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS). |

14 | Facilities | The basic science education in our vocational school has been carried out in 14 classrooms and 3 application laboratories (with advanced technological equipment). 1 computer lab has been arranged to have a computer per student and each program's basic books, MedLine and electronic journals are accessible with these computers which allows linking to 7 database servers and the center library with 81,000 e-books. Practical trainings; Florence Nightingale hospitals with 225 beds, which are the educational hospital of our university, are also used for the purpose of application. The Group Florence Nightingale provides a job opportunity for students who graduate as Medical Imaging Technician. |
